North Vancouver, BC, June 8, 2023 – Cascadia Green REIT (“CGREIT”) announced today the appointment of Mike Schilling as Senior Director on CG REIT’s advisory board.
Mike Schilling is a former investment banker with Barclays and is currently President & CEO of Community Savings Credit Union. For eight decades, Community Savings has funded key local residential and commercial real estate construction projects, and Community Savings has a long and successful track record of working with Cascadia Green Development. Community Savings leads the way on affordable housing funding models, including a first-of-its-kind rent-to-own program in partnership with Cascadia Green Development with the Innova project in North Vancouver. In addition to traditional funding models, Community Savings launched a co-operative division last year to support financing and banking of cooperative housing projects.
